Located in the heart of the old town of Whitby with its bustling cobbled streets and interesting shops,situated just yards from Tate Hill beach and rock pools and close to the famous 199 steps, historic St Mary's Church and impressive Whitby Abbey.

Ground Floor : Dining Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated appliances including:
gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge with icemaking compartment and microwave.
Breakfast / dining table to seat six people.
The floor of this room is beautifully finished with parquet flooring and there is an original range in which (we are reliably informed) the Fortune family used to smoke kippers.
Nowadays, this open range is for decorative purposes only!

The comfortable sitting room has an open fire in original cast iron range and a flat screen TV/DVD in case you'd like to spend a cosy night in!
Gorgeous pine flooring and beamed ceilings give the room a warm and cosy feel.

Parking / Outside Space :
You can drive to the door to offload but there is no parking at the property. We always advise guests where to look.
There is no outside space but access to Tate Hill Beach is across the road and there are benches at the top of the street (a one minute walk) so that you can look out to sea.
